Summer Renovations

PARISH SUMMER RENOVATION PLAN DETAILS

This summer the parish will be undergoing renovations to replace flooring in the worship space as well as most adjacent spaces within the main building. This is the final project of our  “One Heart, One Soul” capital campaign which ran from 2020-21. This is a significant undertaking given the footage of the space and the work required. As such, for the coming summer months the main church will be under renovation and therefore

all Masses on weekdays and weekends must be conducted in the parish hall for the duration of the renovations.

It is our hope that the project will finish in late summer, with a goal to return to the church for Masses in September (date TBD). The plan to conduct Masses in the hall will take effect June 30th, 2026.

For the safety of all parishioners there will be no access to the main narthex and sanctuary during the renovations. We appreciate your support in following these temporary guidelines.

Listed here are the details regarding mass plans and access to the building for the duration of the renovations.

Masses & Hall Access:

➢ Weekday Masses will be at 9:00am (M, W, TH, F, S) and 7:00pm (T) as usual.

➢ Weekend masses follow the same schedule as always, Saturday 5:00pm, Sundays

9:00am, 11:00am and 8:00pm.

➢ Access to the hall will be via the far hall doors and will open approximately 30 minutes

prior to mass.

➢ The hall will remain open for personal prayer until 10am on weekdays, after which it

will be locked for the duration of the day.

➢ Mass volunteers will remain active; all volunteers have received updated information

about their role and the use of MSP will continue throughout the renovations.

Confessions:

➢ Saturday afternoon confessions will be moved to the Parlour space of the parish office.

Access to the Parlour is through the parish office entry doors. Confession times will be

posted on the doors and the cut off time will have to be strictly adhered to allowing the

priest to be ready for the 5pm mass.

Adoration, Funerals and Baptisms:

➢ These will be cancelled over the duration of the summer and while the renovations are

being completed.
